123D Design is a free online app that makes it easy for anyone to create models for 3D printing. Join our instructor as he walks through how to convert a 2D drawing from Inkscape into a 3D model using 123D Design to make an attachment for your backpack, hairband, or shoelaces.
This is a great first course for those new to 3D, and/or for those who want to learn more about working in a 3D application.

- Using Inkscape or Illustrator to create a 2D vector shape
- Importing a 2D shape into 123D Design
- Converting a 2D shape into a 3D shape
- Duplicating and combining 3D shapes
